POS App Home Screen/Main Menu

To access the POS app Home screen, tap User-added image on the Ticket screen.

From the Home screen, you can access Point of Sale, Item Lookup, and Customer Lookup functions, review settings and session details, change selling locations, connect to the Back Office to manage your store, log out of the POS, and access this Help system.

  • Tap User-added image to display the Settings screen.

  • Tap User-added image to display session details.

  • Tap User-added image  to the right of Selling location on the session Details screen to change selling locations if you sell from multiple locations.

  • Check your internet access by looking at the connection icon User-added image or User-added image at the top of the screen.

  • Tap Point of Sale to start a ticket.

  • Tap Other functions and then tap:

  • Tap Logout to log out of the POS app.

  • Tap Back Office to manage your store. (authorized users only).

Understanding Icons on the Home Screen

User-added image

This indicator, which appears at the top of the POS Home screen and the Point of Sale screen lets you know that your POS device is actively connected to the internet

User-added image

This indicator, which appears at the top of the POS Home screen and the Point of Sale screen lets you know that your POS device is not actively connected to the internet.  Check your device's WiFi settings.  Check your internet connection.  You can continue to process transactions while offline, but you may not be able to process credit until your connection is restored.

This indicator, which appears at the bottom of the POS Home screen, lets you know that either your bar code scanner or credit card reader is not connected to your POS device.
