When you scan an item, if the barcode isn't found, you can link the barcode to an existing item record by following these steps:
Tap Link to existing item on the Barcode not found window.
Tap OK on the Link to existing item message.
Search the item to which you want to link the scanned barcode and tap the item to select it.
Tap Yes on the Link to existing item prompt to associate the scanned barcode with the item you selected.
If the item you select already has a different bar code assigned to it, the system will alert you. You can choose to overwrite the existing bar code or search for the item again.
