For customers who qualify, it is possible to apply a tax exemption.
- With the guest check active, tap the Tax line item, located at the bottom of the guest check. The ‘Tax’ screen appears with each type of tax listed separately, if more than one type of tax applies.
- Tap the tax to exempt and select Exempt from the menu that appears, or tap Exempt all. The exempted taxes appear in red.
- Tap Close. The tax amount appears adjusted on the screen.
| Note: To undo a tax exemption, tap the tax line item at the bottom of the guest check, the ’Tax’ screen appears, tap Nonexempt all, and tap Close. |
