Removing a Customer from a Sale

Each new sale is assigned to the default "walk-in customer", but you can easily assign a sale to a specific customer by looking up a customer record.   This procedure also works if you accidentally assigned the wrong customer to the sale.

Follow these steps to remove a customer assigned to a sale:

  1. Do one of the following:

    • iPad Users:  Tap the button that displays the customer's name on the Point of Sale screen to display the customer search window.

    • iPhone/iPod Touch Users:  Tap Customer on the Ticket screen and then tap Search for Customer.

  2. Tap Remove customer from ticket.   The button will now display Assign customer instead of the customer's name.
