NCR Silver OrderPay on the M70 Device NCR Silver OrderPay allows you to deliver an improved guest experience by decreasing wait times, increasing order accuracy and offering more flexible payment options with an order and pay-at-the-table experience. The Android-based device features a built-in RP457C card reader, 6.95” display and wireless functionality with an optional stand. The device can operate with Android or iOS POS stations.

Getting Started: Software
The device comes with the NCR Silver Application pre-loaded on it.
Make sure there are available slots under “devices” in the Back Office. The M70 acts as a “new device” on NCR Silver Pro Restaurant Subscription (Quick Service)
Use your existing NCR Silver Back Office username and password and choose the device slot for this station (i.e. Station 1).
Wi-Fi Connection NOTE: Since the app comes preloaded onto the device, you need to access the Android settings through the NCR Silver software.
To connect the M70 to Wi-Fi:
Click the Options icon on POS screen (the bar icon on top left).
Select Settings from the Slide-Out Menu.
Scroll down and tap Android Settings.
Select Network & Internet.
Select Wi-Fi (make sure it is on) and connect to desired network
Once connected, press the Home button, which will automatically direct you to the POS.
Printer Installation SRP350 III Plus Bluetooth Printer (connected by Bluetooth through POS Settings)
Open the Slide-Out menu.
Select Settings.
Scroll down and tap Android Settings.
Tap Connected Devices.
Tap Printing.
Select Default Print Service.
Add printer by selecting the Options icon (3 dots in right corner).
Add new printer and close out of options.
Select newly added printer and connect.
To confirm the Bluetooth printer is connected:
Log in to the POS app.
Open the Slide-Out menu.
Tap Hardware Settings.
Check the connection of each connected accessory.
Troubleshooting NOTE: NEVER uninstall the app!
Issue: MSR or EMV reader is not reading credit cards.
Check the reader for debris (Clean with a dollar bill).
Check the VAR configuration in the NCR Silver Back Office.
If the VAR hasn’t been put in, the MSR will not function
Advise the client to send in processor information in the form of a VAR sheet
If VAR has been configured, check the setup/connection steps.
Check the WiFi configuration.
If Offline Credit isn’t enabled in the program, this will cause issues of sending payment information to the processor to be approved.
Issue: Clearing the Cache for NCR Silver Pro Restaurant
Click the option icon on NCR Silver Pro Restaurant (the bar icon on top left)
Click Settings.
Scroll down and tap Android Settings.
Tap Storage.
Tap Other apps.
Tap the NCR Silver Pro app.
Tap Clear Cache. NOTE: NEVER tap “CLEAR DATA”.
Once done, click the Home button at the bottom of the screen (“<”) to go back to the POS screen.
