Mobile Device Scanner and Credit Card Reader (The "Sled")

(Available only for the iPhone^® or iPod Touch^®)

This is a combination bar code scanner and credit card reader that you can use with your iPhone and/or iPod Touch.

1. Fully charge your scanner and credit card reader (sometimes referred to as a “sled”).  The battery pack should be fully charged before use to ensure long battery life.

• To prevent electrical damage to the scanner and credit card reader or its battery, please use the provided USB to Mini USB cable only.  Plug the Mini USB side of the cable into the bottom of the scanner.  Then, plug the USB side of the cable into the Apple^® USB power adapter.
• The scanner and credit card reader uses a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery.  Before first use, the battery pack should be charged for at least 4 hours.

• One LED green light on the scanner lets you know the device is at 33% charge.

• Two LED green lights on the scanner let you know the device is at 66% charge.

• Three 3 LED green lights on the scanner let you know the device is at100% charge.

2. Unlock the top cover.

3. Slide in the device.

4. Replace the top cover.
