order mode

This feature provides merchants with the ability to sell different items by order Mode: Pick up, Curbside, Dine In. You can also split daily hours to change your open hours for menu or to provide diverse menus for different time slots throughout the day.

Feature Benefits:
There are three main benefits to this new feature:
  1. If your business is only open for breakfast and dinner, but closed for lunch, you can set up different order hours to meet your business needs.
  2. You can also feature diverse menus and products at different times of the day. (e.g. your breakfast menu can be different than your lunch menu, and your lunch menu can be different that your dinner menu.)
  3. If a merchant would like to sell Product A to Pickup and curbside customers only, they can turn the item off for Dine In customers.
Setup:
Orders: Edit Order Fulfillment Method Time Blocks:

The Order Fulfillment Method Time Blocks are currently located under Orders > Select Order Fulfillment Method>Edit “Order Method” Blocks. There is a tool tip that explains this functionality.
  1. Select the + icon to add a new time block. This feature allows you to have up to 4 different time blocks.
  2. Add in your new start and end time block window
  3. Select Save
  4. If you added a new time block by accident or need to delete a window because your operation hours have changed, you can do so by selecting the – icon next to the time block that you would like to delete.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Once you Order Fulfillment Method time blocks have been configured and saved, you can navigate to your Silver eCommerce item setup.
  7. Select “Inventory” > “Categories & Items”> select your category and navigate to the item that you would like to set up > and scroll down to the Silver eCommerce item set up section.
  8. You will see a setting called “Item Availability Times”. The default functionality is that the product is always available when the store is open for all pre-configured order modes.  
  9. Select the dropdown box. You will see all the pre-configured order types listed across the top and the available time blocks for each day listed in green.
  10. Unselect items for each pre-configured order type if you do not want the item to be displayed on your website.
  • Available item time slots will be GREEN.
  • Unavailable item time slots will turn RED.
  1. If you would like to turn an item completely off for a specific Order Fulfillment Method, you can unselect (make red) all times for that specific Order Fulfillment Method.
  2. Select Save.
Feature Customizations:
PLEASE NOTE: If you make changes to your Order Fulfillment Method Time Blocks after you have already configured your Item Availability Times, your Item Availability times will reset to the always available default settings, and you will need to go back and update your Item Availability Times again.

Feature Benefits: You can now resize your online images with ease within the eCommerce back-office extension. This will help reduce your website set up time and improved the overall onboarding process.
Setup:
  1. Upload your photo by clicking “Select Image”
  2. Drag and resize the fixed aspect ratio box to meet your image resizing needs.
  3. Select the “Crop” button to save your changes.
  4. Preview your cropped image.
  5. Once you are satisfied with your changes select the “Save” Button.
 

tax calculation sync

Feature Benefits:
This feature provides merchants with the ability to sync their Silver eCommerce taxes with the click of a button.

Setup:
Sync your online taxes by navigating to Silver eCommerce > Global Settings > Tax Calculation. Follow the steps below to sync your online taxes.
  1. Configure POS taxes & save changes
  2. Click "Sync Online Taxes"
  3. In back office, navigate to "Settings"
  4. Select "Taxes"
  5. Ensure that the line item "online" appears under the taxes location name.
Feature Customizations:
Please note, POS taxes will need to be pre-configured to sync your Silver eCommerce taxes.

You will not be able to save your order fulfillment options (Pickup, Curbside, or Dine In) until online taxes are configured and synced.
