The slide out Menu replaces the Home screen and gives you quicker access to all store functions directly from the ticket screen.
You can open the slide out menu from any screen by tapping the three lines in the top left corner of the app.
Some important functions that have moved to the slide out menu include:

Close Shift
Pay in/out

You can open the slide out menu and tap “Ticket Entry” to return to the ticket screen from any location in Silver.
Easy Navigation with Tabs and Panels
Fewer pop-up windows and “Done” buttons speed up your checkout procedures.
Tabs and the two-panel display simplifies navigation.
You can access the ticket, customer, table and info tabs on the left display panel.
Use the ticket tab to add items to a customer’s order.
Use the customer tab to search for, edit and assign customers to the ticket.
Once activated, use the table or tag tab to assign a table number or custom tag to the ticket by accessing the corresponding tag.
Access ticket notes form the info tab.
Tap items that have been added to a ticket to access additional tabs on the right display panel.
Use the modifier tab to view and select modifies.
Items variations will still prompt for selection when added to a ticket. However, you can use the variations tab to change the selection.
Search for and add item level discounts in the item discounts tab.
Use the price overrides tab to quickly apply a price override and reason code all form one screen.
Access or edit item details and add favorites from under item details.
Tapping the “Close” button in the bottom right corner will return you to your item selection screen.
Modifiers Screen Overview
Add modifiers by tapping the green “+” sign or mark them to be removed by tapping the red “– “
Once added to an item, modifiers can be removed by pressing the “X” on the ticket.
Working with Customers
You can search for customers from the slide out menu or the customer tab. The new customer screen allows you to search for, assign, view and edit customer info from the same screen.
Using the Quick Cash Function
Tapping the new “Cash” button at the bottom of the ticket bypasses the payment type screen, and takes you directly to the cash tender screen for faster checkout.
Always See Change Due
If the “Required PIN Entry” POS setting is turned on, you will be prompted to enter your pin after every transaction.
the log in screen will no longer cover the previous ticket’s change due amount.
Accessing Reports
POS reports are now accessible from the slide out menu.
Note: you must have a user role with access to the POS Reports feature in order to access reports.
you can select the report type in the left panel, then select report parameters, such as date range, on the right of the screen.
Once selected, the results will display on the right side panel.
