Configuring the Cash Drawer to Open

If you are using the POS app receipt printer with a cash drawer, follow these steps to configure the POS app to open the cash drawer when necessary:

1. From the Slide Out Menu, tap Settings

2. Tap Checkout options.

3. Tap Cash drawer > Configure behavior.

4. Tap one of the following cash drawer settings:

• Always - With this setting, the POS app will automatically open the cash drawer at the end of the transaction.

• Ask - With this setting, the POS app will prompt you to open the cash drawer at the end of the transaction.

• Never - With this setting, the POS app will never open the cash drawer, requiring you to open it manually using the key.

If you selected Always or Ask in step 4, you can use the ON/OFF toggles to trigger the cash drawer's behavior based on payment types.
