When you replace an iPad in your restaurant, you can deactivate the old device to prevent anyone from using the old device to access your POS. You can deactivate the old device when you load NCR Silver Pro Restaurant onto a new device. In the event you select ‘Register new device’ instead of ‘Replace existing device,’ you can deactivate a device in Silver Back Office.​
  1. Log in to Silver Back Office through a Web browser.
  2. Click your username in the top right portion of the page, and click My Account from the drop-down list.
  3. Click My Devices.
  4. Click Deactivate for the device you want to deactivate.
  5. Click Save Changes.
